![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So, I get why every model card is included. The TestingGames YouTube channel posted a video comparing the same hardware with different versions of drivers from 2017-present, and there’s a small gain from newer drivers. Part of it’s likely raytracing stuff, but I also think it’s because the drivers support every GeForce card all the way back to the 600 series. My file size blunder aside - still can’t believe I did that - I’d really like to know why the drivers installer file keeps getting larger and larger. Currently they fix something for one card, and it breaks something for another. They really should have at least two branches for drivers these days - ones for the pre-ray tracing cards, and ones for the newer ones. As a side note, 720 GB? Really? Why the heck does each drivers release keep getting closer and closer to the 1 TB file size?īecause Nvidia stubbornly refuses to break off their ray tracing card drivers from the older ones. I just installed it, so I’ll see how it goes. The game-ready desktop version was released a short while ago. You can refer to this guide in case you are not sure how to disable HAGS.Just downloaded, so no go? I'll install my 3080 Ti with 68 then. In case this driver also does not resolve the issue, there are reports that disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU scheduling (HAGS) from the Windows graphics settings fixes the issue. Interestingly, however, some users are reporting that the driver did fix the flicker issue on single monitors too, even though this hotfix is for multiple monitors. The story is mostly the same over on the Reddit discussion thread as well. Hopefully, the other display flickering bugs will be fixed with the next driver update from the company as plenty of users are still reporting the same problem on the driver feedback thread over on Nvidia's official forum. Interestingly, Nvidia's 535.98 driver changelog already notes a couple of other flickering problems, one of them in the resolved section and another in the open issues part. ![]() To download the driver, head over to the support article on Nvidia's official website where you can find the download link. ![]()
